The National Memorial Arboretum is 150 acres of landscaped grounds containing over 400 memorials. The memorials commemorate the Armed Forces, Emergency Services, and civilian organisations, with designs in symbolism reflecting those they remember. The Arboretum describes itself as "a space where everyone can celebrate lives lived and remember lives lost". The site holds events and activities throughout the year for visitors of all ages.
