Kelvingrove opened in 1901 and spreads across 22 galleries. You'll find art ranging from Salvador Dalí's Christ of St John of the Cross to Charles Rennie Mackintosh, alongside animals and objects from Ancient Egypt. Alasdair Gray's Cowcaddens is on permanent display. Free daily organ recitals play on the 1901 Lewis and Co organ. The KG Café on the lower level overlooks the park and serves seasonal Scottish produce, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks with vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options. A coffee shop with counter service sits in the main hall. The building has wheelchair and pram access to all public areas via lifts, and accessible toilets on every floor.
