Armagh Observatory & Planetarium sits on around 20 acres of green space open 24/7, with views across the city. The Observatory itself is a historic Georgian building housing a number of historic telescopes; it is an active research facility and can be viewed from outside, though public access is by scheduled tour only. The planetarium runs dome shows and exhibitions. The grounds offer opportunities to explore both nature and space.
