Yes, Z is buggy friendly with a dedicated buggy park near reception. Older children aged 6 and over cannot use the soft play but are welcome free as 'adults' to enjoy food and drink with the family, making it manageable to visit with multiple age groups together.

How long should we allow for a visit?

Your table is guaranteed for 2 hours and you are welcome to stay longer when there is space at no extra charge. Since class tickets include complimentary access to soft play and the café before or after, you can easily make a whole morning or afternoon of it.

Is there anywhere to eat, or should we bring a picnic?

Z has a chef-led café serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with home-cooked food made from locally sourced ingredients, extensive children's options including for weaning babies, and Two Brothers Coffee roasted in Warrington. You do not need to bring a picnic.

Do I need to book to visit, or can we just turn up?

For soft play sessions you simply reserve your table online and pay upon arrival with no upfront payment or cancellation charge. For fitness classes and activities you must book through the timetable or Z app.

What should I bring that people forget?

Z stocks some essentials free of charge such as wipes in case you are caught short, and has baby changing facilities. For classes, bring comfortable clothes, trainers and a water bottle; for Baby & Me, bring whatever your baby usually needs as there is a buggy park and baby changing facilities downstairs.

Does it work in bad weather?

Z is entirely indoors, so bad weather will not affect your visit. The soft play, café and fitness studio are all under one roof in the heart of Stockton Heath.
