Pendle Wavelengths is a leisure centre with a distinctive pyramid roof in Nelson. The main draw is the swimming pool, which features a roof-high waterslide and wave machine, plus a brand-new-in-2025 interactive waterplay feature in the shallow end with a beach-style setting. Beyond swimming, there's a modern gym with cardio, resistance and functional training equipment, a range of fitness studio classes covering high-energy conditioning to low-impact aqua fitness, and Play Lü—interactive projection and sensor-based games that encourage movement through play for families and children. The centre also has Inside Spa, Pendle's only thermal suite with body and beauty treatments, and a beachside diner serving drinks, meals and snacks.
