Smithills Open Farm sits on 70 acres of rolling countryside north of Bolton. You can meet and feed the animals, watch milking demonstrations, ride donkeys, take tractor rides, and explore the Zoo Zone and Pets Corner. There's a large outdoor play area, an ice creamery serving ice cream made from the farm's own milk, and a farm café. The farm also sells fresh produce, eggs, milk and honey from its shop.
