Priory Country Park is a 360 acre green space of lakes, meadows and woodland, partly enclosed within a bend in the River Great Ouse. The park holds habitats from reed beds to quiet walks, with bird hides, fishing (permit required), boating and paddle sports on the river, and play areas. Priory Sailing Club offers dinghy sailing, windsurfing and paddle sports day tickets at weekends. Walking trails are marked in three colours. The Cloverdale Retreat café overlooks the main lake with elevated decking outside. The park is a County Wildlife Site with areas left undisturbed for wildlife, and holds a Green Flag Award.
Fishing season runs 16 June to 14 March each year (Environment Agency rod licence + council permit required).
