The Forest of Marston Vale is a 61-square-mile woodland area between Bedford and Milton Keynes created through environmental regeneration. The site includes the Forest Centre and Millennium Country Park, where visitors can explore woodlands and restored habitats. Summer events for children include a farmyard trail where little ones help find escaped animals, and jungle-themed craft sessions at the Forest Centre. The forest is home to wildlife including rare bats, newts and pond life in restored ancient woodlands.
Summer hours - car park closes 8pm daily.
