A visit to the home of Manchester United combines a guided walk around the stadium with a three-floor museum about the club's history. The tour takes families down the players' tunnel, into the dressing room and out to the pitchside dugouts, with the press room and other areas along the route. The museum covers trophies, kit history, the club's early years and famous players and managers, with interactive displays that suit school-age children as well as football fans. Children under three are admitted free, and school groups can book educational visits, including sessions in a classroom on the museum's middle floor. Visitors should allow around two to three hours in total. The tour route includes a good number of stairs, so the venue advises families with pushchairs or wheelchairs to get in touch before visiting. There is a café next to the museum entrance, and lockers for small bags are available at the reception.
