Silverstone Museum sits at the famous Silverstone Circuit and tells the history of British motor racing from its origins as a Second World War airbase to the present day. The collection includes racing cars from saloons to Formula 1, alongside motorcycles and other memorabilia. There are interactive exhibits and hands-on activities throughout. You can try the state-of-the-art simulator for a 30-minute session on the Silverstone circuit, or experience Black Cats & Chequered Flags, a mixed reality experience about Alberto Ascari, the first double World Champion. The museum has a café and shop on site.
