A pirate-themed adventure golf course set on the seafront slipway at Westward Ho!, close to the Blue Flag beach and the South West Coast Path. The eighteen holes are laid on astroturf with bridges, slopes, obstacles and a grass and pebble landscape dotted with boats and ships' masts, so the course stays playable in wet weather. Clubs and scorecards are provided, and the course suits a wide range of ages, from toddlers with an adult to grandparents, as well as complete beginners. There is a small food and drink offer nearby with coffee, burgers and sweet treats, which makes it an easy half-hour or hour out after a beach visit. The season runs through the warmer months, so it is best checked before a winter trip.
Open from April to October, weather permitting; closed during the winter.
