What’s there

  • Limited parking

Operator says parking in Beer Road close to the gardens is very limited; plenty of parking is available in the town or along the seafront.

Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.

The Seaton Labyrinth sits in Cliff Field Gardens on the cliff top above West Walk, a short climb from the town seafront and the start of the South West Coast Path. It was laid out in 2005 to mark Seaton's millennium, with a grass path edged by stone taken from quarries along the Jurassic Coast and ammonites set into some of the lobes. Unlike a maze it has no false turns or dead ends, so younger walkers can follow the single route to the centre and back. Beside it is a small carved finger labyrinth that children can trace with a fingertip, and an interpretation board explaining the coastal geology. A geological timeline runs along the path through the gardens. The site is outdoors and open to all, so families can combine a walk with a stroll along the seafront or the cliff path.
