Whitemills Wake & Aqua Park sits on purpose-built lakes just outside Sandwich and is built around a large inflatable obstacle course on the water. Children can jump, climb, slide and balance across the floating course in timed, shared sessions, with lifeguards on duty and wetsuits and life jackets provided. Younger children need an adult on the water with them, and there are height and swimming requirements, so it suits confident swimmers and families with older children best. Alongside the aqua park the site runs cable wakeboarding for beginners and experienced riders, stand-up paddleboarding, open-water swimming and a lakeside restaurant and bar. Birthday and group parties are offered, and the site also has camping, lodges and a sauna for those staying longer. It is a lively, outdoor day out that works well in the warmer months.
Aqua park runs from Easter holidays to late September according to the venue's own aqua park page.
