Riverhill Himalayan Gardens is a family-owned estate in the Weald of Kent, centred on a Queen Anne house and gardens first planted in the 1840s. The gardens have terraces, mature trees, rhododendrons and azaleas, and a walled garden with fountains and a kitchen garden. There is a hedge maze to wander, and the bluebells in spring and views across the Weald give children plenty to look at over a relaxed afternoon. The estate also has parkland and farmland, so families can take longer walks beyond the formal areas. The venue welcomes school groups and publishes guidance for visiting with children, making it a calm outdoor day out for younger visitors as well as adults. There is a plant and gift shop and a coffee house on site.
