Muswell Manor is a family-run caravan and chalet holiday park on the Isle of Sheppey, set in about five acres of grounds a short walk from the beach at Leysdown. The site has two play parks, one for younger children and one for older ones, plus a set of swings and a large playing field where families often gather for barbecues in fine weather. The historic manor house dates back to the 1500s and is tied to early British aviation, with displays about the Short Brothers and the first aviators. Families can also stay in bed and breakfast rooms in the manor. The park is aimed at quiet family holidays rather than busy attractions, so it suits parents who want a relaxed base on the Kent coast with space for children to run around.
