Polmanter Touring Park

Polmanter Touring Park is an award-winning, family-run touring and camping park set in the countryside overlooking St Ives on Cornwall's Atlantic coast. Run by the Osborne family for over fifty years, it combines five-star facilities with a warm Cornish welcome, and has won a VisitEngland Awards for Excellence Gold Award (2025), Cornwall Tourism Awards Gold and the AA National Campsite of the Year (2014).

Families can choose from grass and hardstanding pitches with electric, water, TV and drainage options, or upgrade to luxury self-catering properties or safari tents for glamping. There is plenty to keep children entertained: a large heated outdoor swimming pool (open end of May to mid-September), two outdoor playgrounds (a toddler-friendly area with a wooden camper van, tractor and pirate ship, plus a daredevil area with a zip wire and climbing pods), an indoor soft play area perfect for rainy days, tennis courts, mini golf, a games room and a football field.

The park also offers a welcoming bar and restaurant serving home-cooked local food, a well-stocked shop with camping essentials and Cornish produce, Escape spa treatment rooms, dog-friendly facilities (including a dedicated exercise field and a shower for sandy dogs) and a regular shuttle bus into St Ives. Beautiful cross-country walks start right from the park.

Non-residents are welcome to use the indoor and outdoor play areas when the site or Stable Bar is open, outside of May half-term and the school summer holidays - there is a £5 fee per non-resident child (babes in arms free), redeemable against a meal in the bar. The touring site is open from April to the end of October, with self-catering accommodation available all year round. Day visitors should call ahead to check availability.
