Facilities
We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.
The World Garden fills a two-acre walled garden on the Lullingstone estate near Eynsford. Its beds are arranged as a rough map of the continents, with plants grouped by the places they come from, so children can walk from one continent to the next and spot unusual plants. Glasshouses for cacti and orchids sit alongside the outdoor beds, and there are sculptures and a woodland walk to follow. The wider estate includes a historic gatehouse and a church in the grounds, and there is space for a picnic on the lawns. It suits curious older children and adults who enjoy plants and history, and it is a quiet, outdoor-led day out rather than a play venue. Visits run only in the main season, so check ahead before travelling.
Seasonal: closed out of season. Pre-booked group and school visits run on set weekdays April to October. Special events occur on some weekends.
