Dymchurch Amusement Park is a compact, old-style seaside funfair on the High Street, a short walk from the sandy beach on the Romney Marsh coast. It suits families with younger children who want a relaxed afternoon of fairground rides, with a range of rides from gentle ones for the little ones to bigger ones for older children. Several arcades offer games and prizes, and there is food and drink on site. Entry to the park is free; visitors buy tokens or wristbands for the rides. The park is small, so a visit usually lasts a few hours. Parents can combine it with time on the beach or a trip on the nearby Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway.
Rides run mainly at weekends and in school holidays and close down for the winter. The park has removed its ghost train and says a new ride is due next season.
