Brighton Palace Pier is Brighton's iconic Victorian seaside pier, stretching 525m out over the English Channel from Madeira Drive. It is a proper family fun destination with something for every age: fairground rides for thrill-seekers and toddlers alike, the huge Palace of Fun amusement arcade, the indoor Palace Play soft play area (max height 1.5m), plus fish and chips, ice cream, Palm Court Restaurant and Horatio's Bar at the end of the pier.
Entry to the pier is £1 per person during peak season (March-October, peak times), free for under-2s, Local Resident Card holders and anyone with a pre-booked wristband or Annual Rides Pass, and free off-peak and in the evenings. Rides are paid for with unlimited wristbands (Supersaver or Kiddies under 1.2m) or per ride.
The pier is step-free and fully accessible by wheelchair and buggy, with accessible toilets and baby changing in all public toilets. Free carer wristbands are available for disabled guests with proof of eligibility. Kids' parties are available, and the pier is a brilliant all-weather choice thanks to the covered arcade and soft play. Dogs are welcome on the pier (not on the rides).
