Wonder is an indoor role-play centre designed for young children, with more than ten themed areas for them to explore. Rather than a traditional soft play frame, the space is laid out as a small town of imagination: a fire station, a doctors and supermarket setting, a dinosaur ranger depot, a space station and an underwater cove are among the concepts, with dressing-up clothes, props and rideable toys to play with. The play is aimed at children up to around eight years old, and older supervised siblings are welcome. Parents and carers can sit at the benches around the play area or use the café, which serves hot and cold drinks and snacks for adults and children. Sessions are booked in advance online, and the centre also hosts birthday parties and themed events through the year. It suits toddlers and pre-school children especially well, and is a good choice on a wet day when families want somewhere to let imaginative play run.
