Holt Country Park is a woodland park of around 100 acres on the edge of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a short walk from the market town of Holt. It is managed by North Norfolk District Council's countryside team and holds a Green Flag award. Families come for the children's play area, the waymarked trails and the easy access trail, and for the sculptures, carvings and sensory garden scattered through the trees. There is a viewing tower, a seasonal visitor centre, a picnic area and toilets, and a tea room on site. The park is popular with dog walkers and wildlife watchers too, and the council runs events and activities through the year, many of them in school holidays. Mobile signal inside the park is limited, so it is worth planning ahead.
