Tiddlywinks is an indoor imaginative role-play centre in Thetford, set on the Charles Burrell site and aimed at young children up to about eight years old. Its eight themed role-play areas cover everyday pretend jobs such as a vet's surgery, a hairdresser, a shop and a building site, with dressing-up costumes and props throughout. There is also a sensory room for calmer play. Adults can stay alongside little ones while they take on roles, make things and build social and language skills. Weekday playgroup sessions run during term time, with holiday play sessions offered through the summer. Saturdays are available for private hire, which suits birthday parties, nursery groups and school trips. Booking ahead is essential, as sessions are limited to the number of places available.
