Playdale Farm Park is a farm attraction on the Yorkshire Coast built around young children. The animal barn and interactive paddocks let children see goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, pigs, donkeys and smaller animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs up close, and there are feeding sessions and handling demonstrations through the day. Because the site is partly under cover, it is pitched as a rain-or-shine option. The indoor play barn has a soft play area, ride-on tractors, a sandpit with diggers and an adventure fort, while outdoors there are pedal go-karts, frisbee golf and a play area. A café and gift shop sit on site, and there are undercover picnic spaces for families who bring their own lunch. It suits toddlers and primary-age children best and is a straightforward half-day or full-day visit for a family.
Seasonal farm: open in the season only, with a pumpkin patch in October; closed for winter.
