Pedalabikeaway

Pedalabikeaway runs bike hire, a café and a bike shop at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre, and it is the starting point for many of the forest's waymarked mountain bike trails. Families can hire kids' bikes, tag-alongs and trailers as well as e-bikes and full-suspension mountain bikes, then ride traffic-free routes straight from the car park. The gentler family and leisure trails suit young riders and beginners, while a pump track and skills area give older children something to practise on. Adaptive bikes are available for riders with additional needs, and a Changing Places room is on site. The award-winning café serves home-baked cakes and freshly cooked food, with indoor seating by the fire and outdoor tables under a canopy. Toilets, showers and a bike wash are also available, and the centre runs seasonal events such as night rides and family movie evenings.
