Lodge Park is a 17th-century grandstand in the Cotswold countryside, built as a viewing point for deer coursing and lavish entertaining. Families can climb to the balcony and roof for wide views over the surrounding parkland, look at the paintings in the Great Room, and explore the restored Bridgeman landscape around the building. On open days there are lawn games, a free family trail and dressing-up for children. The wider Sherborne Park Estate is a working farm with plenty of wildlife, and marked walks range from a short woodland stroll to a longer family route through farmland and the village. Picnic benches are provided, and a coffee stall runs on open days. Lodge Park itself opens only on selected days, so families should check the calendar before travelling, while the estate paths are open more widely.
Lodge Park opens on selected days and long weekends in 2026; the Sherborne estate is open year round, dawn to dusk.
