We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.
St James City Farm sits in the Tredworth area of Gloucester and has given town children a taste of the countryside since 1998. Visitors can meet goats, sheep, chickens and other farm animals on a compact site that is quick to explore in an hour or two, which makes it an easy outing for younger children and families who want a hands-on animal visit close to the city centre. The farm is run as a non-profit community project by a local registered charity, The Friendship Cafe, and it also runs a small riding school that gives young people one-to-one lessons in riding and horse care. Entry is free, with donations welcome. Because the site is working through building and maintenance works, the opening pattern is currently reduced, so it is worth checking before you travel.
