A free open green run by volunteers from the village, with a nine-acre mix of grassland, woodland edge and a pond. Families can follow a trail of twelve nature-themed mosaics spread across the site, with a quiz that older children can take part in, and a path maze to explore. A human sundial stands on a mound in the middle of the green. The circular woodland trail is just under a kilometre and suits a walk, a scoot or a run with little ones. Children's activities are run here from time to time, including forest school sessions and an annual autumn fireworks display, and a junior parkrun takes place on Sunday mornings. Dogs are not allowed on the site, so it suits families without four-legged companions.
