The house has no car park of its own. Trent Park House of Secrets is a museum occupying the state rooms and basement of Trent Park House, a country house in the north of London. The upper floors have been restored to how they looked in the 1930s, when the house was a glamorous retreat for Sir Philip Sassoon, with fine fireplaces, decorative murals and original furnishings. The basement tells a different story, recreating the listening equipment used during the Second World War to record conversations of captured German officers held there. Children can explore both floors, which are reached by a lift, and the museum runs a learning room for school visits and workshops. A café and shop sit within the building, and the historic grounds of Trent Country Park lie nearby. The museum suits older children and families interested in history and espionage, and it is best visited when the house is open.
