St Ives is the largest park in the Bradford district, a former estate of woodland, open moor and wildflower meadow on the western side of the Aire Valley. Families come to walk and cycle on the marked routes, explore the sculpture trail and look for birds in the wooded areas. The large play area has a zip line, tyre swings, climbing structures and a tunnel slide, with a separate section for younger children. Coppice Pond is a good spot for feeding the ducks, and there is a cafe on the estate. Dogs are welcome on leads kept under close control. Parts of the estate are steep and muddy, so pushchairs and wheelchairs are best kept to the surfaced paths around the pond and play area.
Open all year. Woodland paths can be steep and muddy; the pond path and play area are the level routes.
