A small museum housed in two converted buildings within the historic Moravian settlement at Fulneck, on the edge of Pudsey. Its rooms are arranged as a set of period displays: a Moravian room with missionary artefacts and lace, a Victorian parlour with toys and tea things, a kitchen and scullery, an 1822 hand-pulled fire engine, a working hand loom and a costume room with dolls and children's furniture. Younger visitors often enjoy the carved Inuit animals and the old household objects that they can compare with their own kitchens. Because the museum is compact, a visit can be made in an afternoon and pairs well with a walk around the wider settlement. The museum is run by volunteers, and group settlement tours are also available for local organisations and history groups.
Summer-only opening; run by volunteers.
