Somerset Reindeer Ranch is a small family-run farm on the edge of the Somerset countryside, set around a reindeer herd and a range of other animals. Visitors can book a guided experience to meet the reindeer and feed them lichen by hand, and the ranch also keeps foxes, goats, pigs, emus, llamas and highland cows that guests can see up close. Children tend to enjoy the animal encounters and the enchanted garden, and the seasonal Christmas sessions include a story time, carols and a guided walk to see the reindeer. Some visitors also stay overnight in glamping pods or a loft above the reindeer stable. Because of the animals on site, dogs are not admitted. The ranch suits families looking for a hands-on animal day out in a quiet rural setting.
