HorseWorld is a horse, pony and donkey rescue charity based on a working farm on the southern edge of Bristol. Its yard is home to rescued animals that are rehabilitated before being rehomed, so visiting gives a chance to meet horses, ponies and donkeys that have come through difficult starts. The charity runs its own calendar of events through the year, including open days at the farm and seasonal gatherings such as carol services, which are the occasions most suited to families. Regular public opening is not something the charity advertises, so families should check the events calendar before planning a trip. The site also carries a separate equine-assisted learning programme for young people, which is run by referral and is not a casual visit. Children who enjoy animals will find the donkeys and ponies a natural draw, and the farm setting offers space to walk around between enclosures.
