Newparks Farm is a working farm for rare breeds, set within Muiravonside Country Park on the edge of Linlithgow. Families can walk around the farm and see Highland cattle, Clydesdale horses, Shetland ponies, pigs, rare breed sheep, goats, alpacas and red deer, along with rabbits, guinea pigs and exotic birds in the restored farm steading. The wider park has woodland and riverside trails, a sculpture trail, and a newer play park with farm-themed equipment for younger children and a separate area for older ones. A café is on site, and the farm runs guided walks where children can learn about the animals and sometimes feed them. Because it is a farm rather than a fixed attraction, the animals and animal-care arrangements can change, so it is worth checking the park's current information before visiting with very young children or planning a longer day.
