Whitburn Community Museum is a small local-history museum run by West Lothian Council's Museums Service and housed within the Whitburn Partnership Centre. Its permanent exhibition covers the town's community, people and stories, with artefacts such as a signed guitar, a dated needlework sampler and a locally made weavers' banner. A digital interactive display lets visitors explore further. A temporary display on the Co-operative movement in West Lothian has also been shown. The space is compact and generally quiet, so it suits a short family visit, particularly for older children who enjoy objects and stories from the past. Visits fit alongside other activities at the Partnership Centre. The museum relies on volunteers and accepts donations of objects and pictures from local people.
