A small working alpaca farm and animal sanctuary in the Mayfield Valley on the western edge of Sheffield. Families can meet and pet the alpacas, and older children can walk them around the site on a guided experience. The farm also keeps pigs, ponies, goats, ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs, so there is plenty to look at beyond the alpacas. Children's birthday parties with animal contact, party games and crafts are offered, and the on-site café serves breakfast and lunch food to eat in or take away. The outdoor site is set in open countryside, so it suits a relaxed afternoon out with younger children, and it is best visited in dry weather. Experiences are pre-booked and suit those able to walk on uneven ground.
