Wentworth Garden Centre

A long-established family-run garden centre set in historic walled gardens on the Wentworth estate, with plenty of outdoor space beside the plant and homeware halls. The main draw for children is the Family Farm, where younger visitors can feed llamas, watch daily animal handling sessions, take a turn on a mini tractor derby and dig in a sand and water area beside a full-size pirate ship climbing frame. A free adventure playground with swings, giant slides and climbing frames sits near The Walled Garden restaurant, so parents can eat while keeping children in view. The farm runs seasonal events through the year, including lamb bottle-feeding at Easter and a Halloween visit, and hosts children's birthday parties. Older children and adults may prefer to wander the historic gardens at their own pace.
