Nottingham Castle houses a museum and art galleries spanning 1000 years of history, with collections covering fine art, lace, Robin Hood, and the castle's own past. The site includes hidden caves beneath Castle Rock accessible by tour, where you can see Mortimer's Hole or King David's Dungeon depending on availability. An annual admission ticket allows unlimited revisits for 12 months. The castle grounds host an open-air theatre running June to August. Cave tours run daily, and the venue offers hands-on workshops for school groups exploring historical figures and the site itself.
