Facilities
We haven’t checked this venue’s facilities yet. Give them a ring if something specific matters for your visit.
A heritage and education centre run by Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service at its headquarters in Bootle. Visitors can see vintage fire engines, historic firefighting equipment and memorabilia from past generations of the service, and the centre holds a large photographic archive of the region's firefighting history. It suits children who enjoy vehicles, emergency services and local history, and it also hosts group and school visits with an education focus. Because the centre sits on a working fire service site, it is not a drop-in attraction: visits have to be arranged in advance by phone or email, and the centre is staffed largely by volunteers, so check the current arrangements before setting out.
