Little Holland House is the former home of the artist, designer and craftsman Frank Dickinson, who designed and built the house himself in the Arts and Crafts style in the early 1900s. Volunteer guides open it on selected Sundays for self-guided visits or guided tours, so visitors can wander through rooms still filled with his hand-made furniture, paintings, carved decoration and metalwork. It is a quiet, compact outing that suits children interested in history, craft and design, and it is a short walk from Carshalton Beeches station. The house is cared for by Sutton Council's heritage team with the Friends of Honeywood Museum. An interactive 3D scan of the upstairs rooms is published online, which helps families plan a visit or see the rooms ahead of time.
Open days are on a monthly and festival pattern rather than a weekly one; check the venue's own site for the next date.
