Tannaghmore Gardens and Animal Farm is a family favourite on the edge of Craigavon, set in the grounds of a listed Georgian farmhouse inside Craigavon City Park. The animal farm keeps rare and traditional Ulster breeds such as Irish Moiled and Dexter cattle, Galway sheep, Saddleback pigs, goats and a range of poultry, and children can get close to them. The wider gardens offer tree and sculpture trails, a collection of traditional gates, a large maze and a country-style wooden play area, so younger children can run off energy between animal visits. There are open lawns and picnic space, and the lakes and walking paths of the wider park are a short stroll away. It suits a relaxed half-day out with small children, and it is also popular with school groups and visitors who enjoy farm life.
