Serpentine Green is a covered shopping centre in Hampton, on the southern edge of Peterborough. The mall is a hit with young families: coin-operated children's rides line the walkways, there are outdoor play areas next to the Shopmobility unit, baby changing sits between Timpson and the Food Court, and parent & baby rooms offer a private place to feed. Parking is free for the first four hours with over 2,000 spaces including parent & child and disabled bays. The centre hosts a broad mix of shops - Tesco Extra, M&S Simply Food, Next, JD Sports, Boots, Superdrug, Specsavers - plus family-friendly cafes and food outlets (Costa, Greggs, Burger King, Tesco Cafe). Note: there is no cinema or bowling on site (the nearest Showcase cinema is at Boongate; Hollywood Bowl is at Bretton).
