Lowestoft Library is Suffolk Community Libraries' town-centre branch on Clapham Road South, opposite the bus station. Entry and book borrowing are free, with free WiFi, free computer use and a regular programme of free children's activities: Baby Bounce and Duplo for babies and under-5s, rhyme time and story time, Tot Rock, family playtime, Lego Club and Saturday craft sessions for primary-age children, plus school holiday activities and a Saturday SEND-friendly play session (Friends of S.E.N.D.). The library has baby changing facilities, wheelchair access with a lift to the first floor and an adapted toilet, and public pay and display parking opposite.
