Mount Wise Outdoor Swimming Pools is a free, seasonal outdoor swimming complex in Devonport, Plymouth, operated by Plymouth Active on behalf of Plymouth City Council. Open from May to September each year, it offers three pools: a family-friendly 25-metre sea-water main pool with a swimming lane and shallow end, a fun activity pool with fountains, stepping stones, a whirlpool and a bubble pool, and a beach-entry paddling pool perfect for helping young children build confidence in the water. Entry is free, light refreshments are available during opening hours, and the pools enjoy fantastic views across the Tamar River. Sessions must be booked in advance online or via the app.
