Becket's Park is a traditional, free-to-enter riverside park on the banks of the River Nene, forming a green gateway to the centre of Northampton. It offers large open lawns, a children's play area, bookable tennis courts, and riverside walks where the Grand Union Canal meets the River Nene. The park is managed by West Northamptonshire Council, and the volunteer friends group Buddies of Becket's (BOB) helps improve and conserve the park and the adjacent Midsummer Meadow. Nearest parking is at Midsummer Meadow car park on Bedford Road.
