Lyth Hill is a Local Nature Reserve on the southern edge of Shrewsbury, just south of Bayston Hill. This hilltop countryside site offers far-reaching views over the Shropshire countryside, grassland meadows grazed by Dexter cattle, and woodland and scrub habitats rich in wildlife. Walking paths range from easy to difficult, including a route specially designed for families, and the hill is popular with sky-watchers thanks to low light pollution. Free to visit year-round.
