Barnsdale Gardens holds Britain's largest collection of individually designed gardens. The site includes a Modern Estate Garden, Rock Feature, Memorial Garden, Gentleman's Cottage Garden, Japanese Garden, Versailles Rose Garden, Children's Garden, Woodland Walk, Fruit Orchard, Allotment, and many others. There is a Tea Garden with a menu, a plant nursery where you can buy plants, and a shop. The gardens are open every day with no need to book in advance.
Mar-Oct: gardens & nursery 9:00-17:00 (last entry 16:00), tea room 9:00-16:30. Nov-Feb: gardens & nursery 10:00-16:00 (last entry 15:00), tea room 10:00-15:30. Closed 24th-26th December. Under-18s free.
