Harlyn Surf School is Cornwall's longest-running surf school, established in 1994 and based at Harlyn Bay near Padstow - recognised by The Sunday Times as the best surf school on the North Cornish Coast. AALS- and Cornwall Council-licensed, it offers professionally delivered surf lessons, stand-up paddleboarding lessons and guided tours, coasteering, sit-on-top kayak tours, group activities (schools, stag and hen parties, families) and equipment hire (surfboards, SUPs, kayaks, bodyboards, wetsuits). Harlyn Bay is a sheltered, family-friendly two-mile crescent of golden sand with rock pools and cliffs - one of the safest beginner beaches in the South West. Summer Surf Camp runs for 8-14 year olds during the school holidays. Booking is recommended in advance. Dogs are welcome on the beach.
