St Neots Museum tells the history of the market town from prehistoric times onwards. The original Edwardian prison cells are a distinctive feature, where visitors can see where prisoners were detained and exercised. The galleries cover the story of an 11th-century Benedictine prior through to local First World War memories. The museum also hosts specialist and family events including walks, talks, one-day festivals, temporary and touring exhibitions, and an escape room experience called Jailbreak.
