The Giant's Garden is a wild home-making space for pre-schoolers, their siblings and parents. Run by storyteller Joanna Gilar, it hosts child-led play in the semi-ancient woodland of St Peter & St James Hospice, North Chailey: Wild Tots Sussex free-play sessions for 0-5s run weekly on Tuesdays (1-2.30pm), and monthly foraging, storytelling, crafting and wild-cooking events run throughout the year. Families can also follow the self-guided Story Map trail through the woodland, and children are welcome to visit the hospice's donkeys. Sessions are community-led and outdoors - bring weather-appropriate clothing.
Sessions run throughout the year; monthly events vary by season (plantain, daisy, hawthorn, elderblossom themes in summer).
