Glasgow Club Scotstoun (Scotstoun Leisure Centre) is one of the biggest leisure facilities in Glasgow, run by Glasgow Life on Danes Drive in the Scotstoun area of the city's West End. The venue is a genuine family swimming destination: alongside a 25m pool it has a separate warm leisure pool, ideal for younger children and family splash time, with an accessible pool platform lift. Tiny Tots baby and toddler swim sessions and recreational family swims run most days, and during the school summer holidays Glasgow Club runs free family swimming sessions (up to five can swim free together with the kids).
Beyond the water there is plenty for active families: a huge gym, 100m indoor running track, indoor tennis courts, squash courts, badminton courts and a sports hall, plus a cafe and car park on site. The campus also hosts Scotstoun Stadium and the National Badminton Centre.
Casual swimming is pay as you go (adult £5.50, junior £2.75 at time of writing) or free with a Glasgow Club membership; sessions can be booked in advance on the Glasgow Club website or app. Note: the pool and gym are temporarily closed 19 July-5 August 2026 while the venue hosts the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, reopening 6 August 2026.
